Inter will once again try to sign Arturo Vidal from Barcelona in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Spanish news outlet Sport.

The Nerazzurri tried to land the Chilean national team midfielder back in the January transfer window and Inter sporting director met Barcelona management twice to discuss a potential deal but no agreement could be reached.

The two clubs have good relations with one another due to doing several deals between themselves down the years and the report from Sport insists that the relations remain good despite them failing to do a deal over Vidal a few months back.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is seemingly desperate to work with Vidal again, a player he worked with with great success at Inter’s arch rivals Juventus.

The report goes on to state that Vidal could move to Inter as part of a deal that would send Lautaro Martinez in the opposite direction or in a completely separate deal.
