Inter are prepared to invest in Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali after receiving approval from the club’s owners, the Suning group, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset earlier today.
The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking to close the deal for the 19-year-old Italian midfielder as soon as possible, and are ready to offer the Lombard club €40 million plus bonuses for Tonali’s signature. Juventus are also interested in acquiring the teenager, but have slowed down lately, giving the Nerazzurri time to close the deal before the Old Lady can make any counter-offers.
Tonali has already expressed his desire to join Inter, the report continues, and so a move is expected in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old Italian, who is contracted to Brescia until 2021, has made 24 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2130 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided one assist.
