Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is expected to arrive in Milan next week, after remaining in Chile to manage some personal matters, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews today.

The report details how the 31-year-old Chilean forward, who is on a season-long loan from Premier League side Manchester United, left Italy later than his teammates, in agreement with the Nerazzurri’s management. The player has remained in Chile for a little longer than his teammates as a result, sorting out personal matters and carrying out his quarantine at home.

Once Sanchez returns to Italy, the report continues, the player will have to undergo a quarantine again. The player is expected to return to England in the summer, as the Nerazzurri don’t wish to sign the player, in part due to his incredibly high wages. The 31-year-old has made 15 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 596 minutes.
