A report from today’s paper edition of the Spanish newspaper Sport has highlighted the list of players that Inter are considering should Lautaro Martinez be sold to Barcelona in the summer.
The report details how the Blaugrana are still looking to sign the 22-year-old Argentine striker, whose contract expires with the Nerazzurri until 2023, in the summer, despite the impact of the Coronavirus emergency on the transfer market. The Milanese club are prepared to lose Lautaro and so have been working hard to find replacements.
In addition to Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud, the report continues, Inter have highlighted a number of other players. These include Timo Werner, Luka Jovic, Anthony Martial and Victor Osimhen, one of whom is likely to head to Milan after the sale of Lautaro.
Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2437 minutes. In that time, he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists.
