Inter forward Alexis Sanchez flew to Italy this morning after spending two weeks at home in Chile, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Chilean newspaper El Mercurio.

The report details how the 31-year-old Chilean forward, who is currently on a dry loan at the Nerazzurri from Premier League side Manchester United, returned to his native country on the 3rd of April with Inter’s permission, spending the last two weeks alone at home following a specific training program.

Sanchez is the last of Inter’s foreign players to return to Italy, the report continues. The Nerazzurri are expecting to return to training on the 4th May, after indications from the Italian government suggested that it would be acceptable on that date. This would allow the league to restart at the end of next month, as the players would require at least three weeks of training to return to match fitness.
