Inter have no intention of selling central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic amid reported interest from Champions League holders Liverpool according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The Premier League outfit are said to have sparked an interest in signing the Croatian midfield maestro and have been in contact with his representatives over a possible switch in the upcoming transfer window.

Brozovic has a €60 million release clause in his contract but Inter are not worried as they have currently received no offers for him and because they have every intention of signing him to a new and improved contracted.

The 27-year-old is already under contract with the club until the end of the 2021/22 season but Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are already at work on getting him to sign a new deal.

The former Dinamo Zagreb player has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored three goals and provided five assists.
