Juventus will make a move for Inter owned Mauro Icardi with Gonzalo Higuain set to leave the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
Higuain is seemingly close to securing a move to MLS franchise LA Galaxy and due to this the Bianconeri management are preparing themselves to move for Icardi.
Icardi is currently out on loan at reigning Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain and appears destined to be bought outright for a sum of €70 million in the coming months.
The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that Icardi may not last in Paris for all that long and could well be part of a big swap deal between Juventus and PSG that could involve Miralem Pjanic or Alex Sandro.
Whilst in the French capital, Icardi has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 20 goals. He has also provided four assists for his teammates.
