Inter could potentially go back in for Edin Dzeko with Roma set to look to move him on in order to balance the books according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri showed an extremely keen interest in landing Dzeko this past Summer but the Bosnia and Herzegovina international grew tired of waiting on Inter and proceeded to sign a new and improved deal with the Giallorossi.

He has a contract until 2022 with an annual salary of €7.5 million net, a figure which is too much of a burden to the Italian capital city club.

Dzeko does not want to leave Roma but he could change his mind about that if faced with a tempting offer from elsewhere.

Given his age and his salary it will not be easy for Roma to find a buyer but the report claims Inter could go back in for him if they are to miss out on Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud.
