Reigning Italian champions Juventus have cooled their interest in signing Inter owned Mauro Icardi in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
The 27-year-old Argentine striker is currently out on loan at French side Paris Saint Germain from Inter and the reigning French champions have an option to sign him on a permanent basis for €70 million.
Icardi could earn as much as €10 million a year if PSG end up buying him which would be out of reach for the Bianconeri, who have showed an interest in him for some time now.
As a result of this, the report goes on to state that Juventus are now beginning to consider Napoli’s Arek Milik as more of an option to bolster their attacking department.
The Polish national team striker’s current contract with Napoli is due to expire at the end of next season and would be able to be acquired for far less than Icardi.
