Inter have only received a small amount of solidarity payment as prescribed by FIFA for Degnand Willfried ‘Willy’ Gnonto’s transfer to FC Zurich according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
The Swiss Super League club announced the capture of the Italian youth national team forward earlier on today on a three year contract but they did not state how much they signed him for.
As per this report, due to the fact Gnonto was only on a youth contract with Inter and not a professional one, FC Zurich were not obliged to pay Inter a transfer fee.
Instead, they only had to pay a small solidarity payment fee for youth development determined by world football’s governing body FIFA although the report does not specify how much Inter have received for the promising youngster.
Gnonto made 37 appearances across all competition at youth level for Inter between under 17 and Primavera level in which he scored 14 goals and provided a total of seven assists for his teammates.
