Lautaro Martinez is awaiting to see what sort of contract extension offer Inter make him before taking a decision on his future according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The 22-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a Summer transfer window switch to Barcelona, who are willing to offer him a five year contract with an annual salary of no less than €10 million.

The Argentine national team forward is flattered by the interest and the contract Barcelona are willing to give him but he is very happy and doing well in Milan with Inter so wishes to hold out and see what Inter have to offer.

He currently earns €2.2 million a year at Inter and the report claims that Inter may have to offer him as much as €7.5 million a year to convince him to reject the advances of Barcelona and stay put at San Siro.

This season the former Racing Club player has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
