Manchester United are yet to trigger an option to extend Paul Pogba’s contract with the club by a further season according to a report from British news outlet The Manchester Evening News.

The 2018 World Cup winning midfielder’s current deal with the club is due to expire at the end of next season but the Red Devils can extend it until 2022 if they wish.

They are however yet to trigger the option despite there being a lot of speculation in the media about the player’s future at Old Trafford and the report claims that they are relaxed for the moment about his future with the club.

Pogba has long been linked with a move away from the club and in recent weeks he has been strongly linked with a possible return to Juventus.

Today a report in the Italian media has even suggested that Inter could make a move for him and have in fact already made an enquiry about his availability.
