Inter Could Re-sign Zinho Vanheusden For Reduced Price Due To Standard Liege’s Financial Situation

Inter may be able to bring Zinho Vanheusden back to the club for cheaper than originally agreed due to Standard Liege’s current financial issues according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The young defender joined the Belgian Pro League side outright this past Summer and as part of the deal, the two clubs came to a gentleman’s agreement that Inter can sign him back for around €15 million.

Standard Liege are currently experiencing financial problems and have been denied a UEFA licence for next season as a result. If the Belgian club’s appeal is not accepted then it is highly likely that they will have to resort to selling off players.

Standard Liege could well even give Inter a discount on Vanheusden of a few million just to get some money in and if Vanheusden is to return, Inter would opt to loan him out for at least a season to help him in his development.
