Inter manager Antonio Conte could change from his tried and tested 3-5-2 system in a bid to get the best out of January transfer window recruit Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The Dane has not exactly lived up to expectations since his arrival at the club in a circa €20 million deal from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and has only really shown a flew flashes of what he is capable of.
Eriksen has most definitely not been helped by the fact he has been played out of his natural attacking midfield position but Conte could well change to a 3-4-1-2 system which would then allow him to play in his natural position.
Conte may also opt to change to a 3-4-2-1 system and have Eriksen play alongside Lautaro Martinez in behind top scorer Romelu Lukaku.
The report goes on to state that Inter’s Summer transfer window would be largely determined by the new system if Conte does indeed change it.
