Timo Werner wants guarantees over playing time before agreeing to a move to Liverpool according to a report from British broadcaster Sky Sports.

The highly rated German, who appears destined to leave RB Leipzig in the coming months, has some concerns over whether or not he will play regularly given the attacking talent that Liverpool have in Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

The RB Leipzig forward has been strongly linked with a move to the Champions League holders and would be happy to move to the Reds if they trigger his £52 million release clause (€60 million) if they convince him that he will be able to play regularly.

Werner has also drawn links to Inter in recent weeks with it understood Inter have identified him as a possible replacement for Lautaro Martinez, who has been linked to Barcelona. Barcelona are also said to be looking at Werner as an option if they are unable to land Lautaro from Inter.
