Inter and AC Milan officials are set to have a meeting with the Milan city council next week to hold further talks over the new stadium project according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

At the end of last year the club’s presented grand plans from CMR Sportium and Populous, the two companies vying to build the new state-of-the-art stadium which will replace the historic San Siro, which has been around for close to 100 years now, in the coming years.

As part of the plans the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri shared their desire to build a number of extras as well as the stadium to give life to the surrounding area such as hotels, restaurants and shops.

However, the Milan city council have always believed that the amount of extras the two clubs wish to build as part of the €1.2 billion stadium project is to much and this issue will be one of the main topics on the agenda when they meet.
