Inter and Juventus are set to fight for the signature of Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the Nerazzurri are incredibly keen to sign the 19-year-old Italian midfielder, who is valued by the Lombard club at €60 million, especially after failing to secure the services of Swedish midfielder Dejan Kulusevski, who joined the Turin based club in January. Juventus, however, also want to sign Tonali as they appreciate the qualities of the teenager and are happy to sign a promising young Italian.
Negotiations between Juventus and Brescia are already underway, the report continues. Inter CEO Beppe Marotta isn’t worried and is already thinking about offering players in exchange and which bonuses could sweeten the deal.
Tonali has made 24 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2130 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided five assists.
