Inter are genuinely interested in signing French midfielder Paul Pogba in the summer, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 27-year-old Frenchman, who is contracted to Manchester United until 2021, is wanted by many top clubs around Europe. The player knows that Juventus want him back, that Zinedine Zidane is incredibly keen to bring him to Real Madrid and that Leonardo wants him to be the star in Paris Saint Germain’s midfield.

Inter are also looking to sign the 2018 World Cup winner, the report continues, and the deal is helped by the good relationship between Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and Manchester United vice chairman Ed Woodward.

Pogba has only made eight appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 610 minutes. In that time, he has provided two assists, but has missed the majority of this season due to a variety of ankle injuries.
