Fenerbahce have made a contract proposal to Inter defender Kwadwo Asamoah according to a report from Ghanaian news outlet ghanasoccer.net.

The Turkish Super Lig giants have taken a keen interest in signing the experienced Ghanaian defender and have offered him a two year contract with the same terms he is currently on with Inter.

Asamoah, who has also been linked to Watford lately, still has just over a year left on his current contract with Inter but could well be allowed to leave the club in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

The former Udinese player joined Inter on a three year deal from arch rivals Juventus in the Summer of 2018 and played regularly in his first season but has rarely played this term due to a knee problem.

The 31-year-old has been limited to just 11 appearances across all competitions due to the injury and in 899 minutes on the field he has contributed a single assist.
