Former Inter midfielder and ex-Albanian national team manager Gianni De Biasi has shared his belief that Marash Kumbulla could already be of use to Inter amid continued reports linking the youngster with a switch to Inter.

Kumbulla is currently on the books of Inter’s fellow Serie A side Hellas Verona and it has been reported that Hellas Verona are looking to get in the region of €30 million for him.

Some reports have however suggested that Inter could try and bring down the price of any deal by inserting Federico Dimarco and Eddie Salcedo into any deal.

Inter aside, the highly rated 20-year-old has also been linked with Napoli and Fiorentina among a few other clubs too.

“He is ready, he has personality and character to impose himself in a great team like Inter,” De Biasi explained in an interview with Tuttosport, which appeared in today’s print edition of the Turin newspaper.

“Nobody expected him to have the explosion that he has but thanks to Ivan Juric he has become one of the best defenders in Serie A.”

This season Kumbulla has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date. In almost 1600 minutes he has contributed a single goal and helped the Gialloblu keep several clean sheets too.
