Inter could make a capital gain of close to €100 million if striker Lautaro Martinez’s release clause is triggered this coming Summer according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The 22-year-old Argentine national team striker has been continually linked with a move to Barcelona for some time now and if his €111 million release clause is triggered, Inter will make a capital gain of no less than €96 million on him, given he has a value against the club’s books of €15 million.
Inter may manage to make an even greater capital gain if a player(s) plus cash deal is done and with the total value of such a deal likely to succeed his €111 million release clause.
Lautaro joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 from Superliga Argentina side Racing Club in a circa €20 million deal and he has since went on to represent the club 66 times in which he has scored 25 goals and tallied five assists.
