Inter will only let Lautaro Martinez depart the club this Summer if his €111 million release clause is triggered according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo journalist Francesc Aguilar.

La Liga giants Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for the highly rated 22-year-old Argentine national team striker and it has been widely reported that they would like to do a player(s) plus cash deal for him rather than pay his release clause.

Aguilar has claimed that Inter are not up for selling or doing any sort of exchange and the only way that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and Inter manager Antonio Conte will allow him to leave the club is if his release clause is triggered.

Aguilar goes on to claim that if a team does go on to trigger the former Racing Club player’s release clause, Inter will spend the money according to their needs.

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
