Inter have identified Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla and Tottenham Hotspur’s Jan Vertonghen as two players who could reinforce the club’s back line ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter are one of a number of clubs to have shown an interest in signing highly rated 20-year-old Albanian international Kumbulla and face competition from Everton and Tottenham Hotspur among other sides.

Hellas Verona value him at €30 million but the report states that Inter could bring this price down by inserting Federico Dimarco and Eddie Salcedo into the deal.

As for Vertonghen, the Milan based newspaper go on to explain that the Belgian national team centre back has had interest shown in his services by both Chelsea and Manchester United but is very much tempted by the prospect of playing for Inter, where he could play with compatriot Romelu Lukaku and close friend Christian Eriksen.
