Inter central midfielder Matias Vecino has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to thank a healthcare worker who has personalised his personal protective equipment with his name and number on the back.

The Uruguayan midfielder joined Inter back in the Summer of 2017 from fellow Serie A side Fiorentina and has a contract with the club until the end of the 2021/22 season.

This season the 28-year-old has made 23 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and tallied one assist.

“Thank you but the real hero is you,” he posted.
