Inter are interested in signing Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but know that a deal will be hard to reach, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are one of the many clubs keen to sign the 25-year-old Serbian midfielder, who has already agreed to a new contract with the Biancocelesti until the end of 2024, where he earns €3 million net per season.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has no interest in selling Milinkovic-Savic and has been asking for over €100 million, a high fee for any interested club including Juventus and Paris Saint Germain.

Lazio still don’t want to sell Milinkovic-Savic, the report continues, but the Nerazzurri may still look to sign the player in the summer. The Biancocelesti, however, have no interest in offering any discounts on the Serbian midfielder, despite the uncertain financial climate of the upcoming summer transfer window.

Milinkovic-Savic has made 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2539 minutes. In that time, he has scored five goals and provided seven assists.
