Roma are considering signing Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez on loan after his time with Inter ends, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have no intention of making the 31-year-old Chilean’s stay in Milan permanent, and will be sending him back to Manchester United are his loan expires at the end of the season. The Red Devils also haven’t included Sanchez in their plans for the future, and so his future is now unclear.

Roma are interested in signing him on loan, the report continues, as they are looking for a top forward to help them fight for a top four finish next season. Sanchez has made 15 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 596 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided three assists, missing a large part of the season due to a peroneus tendon injury.
