Bayer Leverkusen are willing to pay in the region of €20-30 million to Barcelona for full back Emerson according to a report in today’s print edition of German news outlet Kicker.

The Bundesliga club have identified the Brazilian right back, who is currently out on loan at Real Betis, as a target ahead of the Summer transfer window, just like Inter and Tottenham Hotspur have.

Before taking steps to sell Emerson, Barcelona are waiting to see what will happen with Nelson Semedo. If Semedo leaves, Barcelona may not let Emerson go.

The report from Kicker goes on to add that Bayer Leverkusen would even be willing to offer Barcelona a buy back clause for Emerson if they allow them to sign him over other interested clubs.

This season the 21-year-old, who has a contract with Barcelona until 2024, has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
