Former Inter striker Aldo Serena has shared his belief that Inter manager Antonio Conte could get Paul Pogba back to his best if the Nerazzurri are to sign him.

In recent weeks Inter, Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain have all been linked with a move for the 27-year-old Frenchman, who has long been linked with a move away from current employers Manchester United, who he joined back in the Summer of 2016.

“It is true that there Paul’s growth has stunted a bit compared to his Juventus years, but he is a player of the highest level, who combines power and quality,” Serena remarked in an interview with Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, which appeared in today’s print edition.

“He is in the middle of his career and at 27 he can give a lot and if he finds the right coach – and Conte is for me – he can go back to being decisive.”

Serena was then asked if he thinks that Inter could win the Serie A title if they were to add Pogba to their ranks this Summer ahead of next season.

“I don’t know because I expect a high level transfer market from Juve but I’m sure that with the Frenchman, Conte’s team would make a nice leap forward.”

This season Pogba, whose contract with Manchester United runs until the end of next season, has made just eight appearances as a result of a serious injury. In his short time on the field he provided two assists for his teammates.
