Barcelona are fearful that interest from elsewhere in Inter striker Lautaro Martinez could drive his price up according to a report from ESPN.

The Blaugrana club have identified the 22-year-old striker as one of their top transfer targets ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window but they are not the only club to have shown an interest in signing the highly rated forward, who has a €111 million release clause in his current contract.

Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain could all seemingly make moves for him in the coming months and Barcelona want to avoid being caught up in a bidding war as they fear other clubs could offer better packages for Lautaro.

Barcelona have held negotiations with Inter on a players plus cash basis and the report goes on to explain that Inter have shown an interest in obtaining Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo as part of a deal for Lautaro.
