Barcelona have given Inter an ultimatum in negotiations over Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Blaugrana club have offered €80 million for the 22-year-old and are also allowing Inter to choose from Junior Firpo, Nelson Semedo and Jean-Clair Todibo as part of the deal.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are not at all fazed by this ultimatum and they continue to demand that the cash element of the deal is at least €90 million or there will be no deal done.

Inter believe that the former Racing Club player will grow even more next season which will in turn lead to an increase to his transfer value.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that Paris Saint Germain sporting director Leonardo has already probed the ground with Inter and Mauro Icardi regarding a permanent switch.

Icardi is currently out on loan at the recently crowned French champions, who can sign him up on a permanent basis for €70 million.
