Inter and Juventus are both interested in signing Septemvri Sofia prospect Kaloyan Kostov and have submitted official offers for him as per the Bulgarian club’s president Rumen Chander.

“In the last year and a half we have received numerous certificates of esteem for the boy and not only from Juventus and Benfica,” Chander remarked in an interview with Bulgarian news outlet KotaSport.com.

“He has excellent qualities and it is no coincidence that he is almost always part of national team squads above his age group. We have received official offers for him from Juventus and Inter Milan. ”

The centre back, who turned 16-years-old yesterday, is a Bulgarian youth national team player at under 17 level and has already made the bench for Septemvri Sofia’s first team earlier on this season.

Kostov is one of several young prospects that Inter are seemingly interested in at the moment with reports elsewhere in the media stating that they are also keen on signing the likes of Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali and PSV Eindhoven attacker Mohamed Ihattaren.

Tonali is widely regarded as one of the top prospects worldwide at the moment and has also drawn links to Juventus and Barcelona as of late. Ihattaren has meanwhile received many rave reviews since bursting onto the scene at PSV.
