Atalanta’s Robin Gosens could help Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso end up at Inter in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The German wing back has been linked with a move to Premier League side Leicester City and if he is to go to the Foxes, it would free Ben Chilwell to move to Chelsea which could then free up Alonso to depart the London based club and join Inter, who are looking to reinforce their full back department.

The Spaniard is Inter manager Antonio Conte’s number one target for the full back department but the report goes on to state that Chelsea would rather sell Emerson Palmieri than Alonso, who has a contract with Chelsea until the end of the 2022/23 season.

This season the former Fiorentina defender has made 20 appearances across all competitions to date. In just shy of 1600 minutes, he has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
