Emerson Palmieri wishes to leave Chelsea and has his sights set on a return to Serie A according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The Brazilian born Italian national team player has plied his trade in England since January 2018 but having fallen down the pecking order at the blues, he wishes to be in a team where he can compete for a place in Roberto Mancini’s European Championship squad.

Inter and Juventus could both make Emerson’s dreams of a return into a reality, the report goes on to explain with both clubs ready to make offers for him.

Juventus, as per the report, could offer Alex Sandro to Chelsea in exchange for former Roma player Emerson, who still has just over two years left on his current deal with Chelsea.

This season the 25-year-old has made a total of 18 appearances across all competitions to date and in 1341 minutes he has provided a single assist.
