Inter could offer Mauro Icardi to Arsenal in exchange for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet Tuttosport.

Icardi is currently out on loan at newly crowned French champions Paris Saint Germain who have an option to sign him permanently for €70 million.

However, if they do not sign him permanently, Inter could use the Argentine forward to acquire Aubameyang, who Inter have identified as someone who could replace Lautaro Martinez, who continues to be very strongly linked with a move to Barcelona.

Arsenal captain Aubameyang is currently valued at between €50-60 million thus a little less than Icardi so it therefore would remain to be seen whether Arsenal would offer some cash on top to make up the difference if the two clubs were to enter into negotiations.

This season Icardi has netted 20 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions whilst Aubameyang has scored the same amount in 32 appearances.
