A report from Italian media outlet FcInter1908 has detailed how Inter are working to secure the core elements of coach Antonio Conte’s project.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have reached an agreement with both Danilo D’Ambrosio and Antonio Candreva to extend their contracts until 2022, although an official announcement is unlikely to be made until the end of the season.

The Nerazzurri are also working to offer new contracts to two other core players, Samir Handanovic and Marcelo Brozovic. The Inter captain’s contract will be extended until 2023, the report continues, although his salary is unlikely to change much from the current sum of €3.2 million net per season.

For Brozovic, the Nerazzurri want to offer the Croatian a new contract as he is a key part of Conte’s project, and it will give them an opportunity to remove or raise his current €60 million release clause.

Three players will also be signed permanently, the report continues. These are Stefano Sensi, Ashley Young and Victor Moses, all of whom have impressed the Lecce born coach and are involved in his future plans.
