The report details how the Nerazzurri have been following the 23-year-old attacking midfielder for a little while now. Diaz, who is contracted to Porto until 2024, has impressed in his first season with the club, immediately standing out in the squad.

The 23-year-old Colombian has made 39 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2343 minutes. In that time, he has scored 12 goals and five assists, impressing with his quick adaption to the Portuguese topflight and quick feet on the ball.
