Negotiations between Inter and the representatives of highly rated Greek youngster Giorgos Vagiannidis over a potential Summer transfer window move are at an advanced stage according to a report from Greek news outlet SportDay.

Inter have met with the representatives as well as the player on several occasions already and it would appear that Inter are getting closer to signing the Panathinaikos right back.

The 18-year-old’s contract with the Greek Super League side is due to expire at the end of June thus meaning Inter will be able to acquire him on a free transfer.

Vagiannidis has spent the majority of the season playing for Panathinaikos’ under 20 side but has made two appearances at first team level.

All in all the Greek under 19 national team player has made 16 appearances across all competitions to date. In 1162 minutes on the park, Vagiannidis has scored five goals and has provided a single assists for his teammates.
