Inter will not grant Barcelona a massive discount for Lautaro Martinez and have no intention of straying to far away from his €111 million release clause even if they are to receive a player or players as part of any deal according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Barcelona have been pushing to sign the highly rated 22-year-old attacker for a good few months now but Inter continue to stand strong and are adamant that any deal will be done on their terms and not Barcelona’s.

Reports in Spain have today suggested that the two clubs are closing in on reaching an agreement but Sport Mediaset insist this is not the case.

The report goes on to explain that Inter do not want to drop their demands too much as they want to be able to afford RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner to replace him.

Reports elsewhere in the media have stated he has a €60 million release clause but Sport Mediaset state that he instead has a €70 million release clause in his deal.
