Inter have no intention of selling central defender Milan Skriniar to Barcelona according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInter1908.it.

Inter value Skriniar in the region of €70 million, a figure out of reach for the Blaugrana and Inter would have no interest in doing a deal for Skriniar that would see them acquire Samuel Umtiti, who Barcelona are reportedly looking to offload this Summer.

Slovakian international Skriniar very much remains part of Inter’s project and the club intend to build the defence around him, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni.

The report goes on to add that Andrea Ranocchia and Danilo D’Ambrosio will remain as back up options whilst Diego Godin will likely depart and Inter will look to bring in another young central defender and another experienced one.

As per the report, the two favourites at the moment are Marash Kumbulla of Hellas Verona and Tottenham Hotspur’s Jan Vertonghen.
