Inter continue to refuse to lower their asking price for Argentinian international striker Lautaro Martinez amid continued interest from Barcelona according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

The Blaugrana club have shown a keen interest in signing the 22-year-old striker for some time but are reluctant to meet Inter’s demands for the highly rated Argentine national team player.

Inter, as per the report, want Lautaro’s €111 million release clause paid or an offer consisting of €90 million plus either one or two players.

The report goes on to explain that due to both clubs being reluctant it will not be easy for any potential deal for the former Racing Club player to be concluded quickly.

This season Lautaro, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date. In 2437 minutes on the park, Lautaro has scored 16 goals and has also provided four assists for his teammates.
