Inter could sign Marash Kumbulla from Hellas Verona and loan him back to them for a season if they are able to land another target of theirs according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Inter are very interested in signing the Italian born Albanian national team centre back, who Hellas Verona reportedly want around €30 million for.

The Nerazzurri club are also interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Jan Vertonghen and if they are to win the race to land the Belgian national team player on a free transfer then Kumbulla could be loaned back to Hellas Verona, where he will be guaranteed regular game time which will aid his development as a player.

Kumbulla is widely regarded as one of the best young defender in Serie A at the moment and he has also been linked with a number of other clubs including Fiorentina and Napoli.

This season the 20-year-old has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a single goal.
