Inter are very much ready to keep a hold of Lautaro Martinez if Barcelona do not meet their demands for him according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Inter are not actively looking to sell the 22-year-old Argentine international but have told Barcelona that unless they pay his €111 million release clause or make a considerable cash offer with a player or players attached they can forget about signing Lautaro.

The report goes on to explain that in the event that the former Racing Club player does go on to depart, Inter will look to bring in Timo Werner to replace him. Inter’s management are all in agreement regarding the Red Bull Leipzig player being Lautaro’s replacement.

The 24-year-old German international has been one of the most prolific goalscorers in European football in recent seasons and this season has been no different with him having scored 27 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions to date.
