Barcelona have a complicated plan to try and secure Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Blaugrana are interested in signing 19-year-old Dutch right back Sergiño Dest from Ajax. Should the Catalan club secure the player’s signature, they could then sell 26-year-old Portuguese full back Nelson Semedo to Premier League side Manchester City.

With Semedo going to the Citizens, former Juventus full back Joao Cancelo would join Barcelona, the report continues, who would then be offered to Inter alongside Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal and €60-70 million for Argentine starlet Lautaro Martinez.

The Blaugrana are confident that this plan would play out properly, the report highlights, showing their desire to bring the 22-year-old Inter striker to Catalonia. Barcelona believe that Lautaro would be the perfect replacement for the aging Luis Suarez, who’s contract is expiring with the club in 2021.
