Contrary to reports elsewhere, Italian football journalist and transfer market expert Nicolo Schira has confirmed that Inter are not interested in signing Rafinha.

Reports in the media have suggested that Inter are one of a few Italian clubs to have developed an interest in signing the Brazilian midfielder, given he will soon have a €16 million release clause in his contract with Barcelona.

Other reports have also suggested that Barcelona could include him in a deal for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez but Schira has claimed Inter are not interested as Inter manager Antonio Conte does not see Rafinha in his plans.

The 27-year-old, who spent the second half of the 2017/18 season out on loan at Inter, is currently out on loan at Celta Vigo.

This season Rafinha has made 23 appearances across all competitions to date and in 1683 minutes on the park he has scored two goals and provided two assists for his teammates.
