Inter and Barcelona are far from close when it comes to reaching an agreement over Lautaro Martinez according to a report from transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio on Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, aired moments ago.

Lautaro has a €111 million release clause in his current Inter contract but Barcelona want to do a player or players plus cash deal to sign him.

As things stand, there is some distance between what Barcelona are wanting to offer both in terms of cash and players and what Inter are wanting to receive with the report adding that Antonio Conte does not rate the players currently on offer as part of a deal.

Barcelona are willing to complete a deal for the 22-year-old Argentine national team striker whilst Inter have certainly not closed the door to potentially selling him.

This season the former Racing Club player, who is under contract with Inter until 2023, has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and tallied four assistd.
