Georgios Vagiannidis has reached a verbal agreement over personal terms with Inter according to a report from Greek news outlet Panathinaikos24.gr.

The player has made it clear that he wishes to try his luck abroad in a telephone conversation with the club president today and is unwilling to listen to what the Greek Super League side have to offer him in terms of a contract extension.

The report goes on to state that his next team probably will be Inter given he has agreed to a three year contract with the Nerazzurri club and that Panathinaikos will receive a sum of €400,000 for the highly rated 18-year-old full back.

Vagiannidis has made his first team debut this season for Panathinaikos but has mainly played his football this term for their under 19 team.

All in all, he has has made 17 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored five goals and tallied a single assist.
