Federico Chiesa will not leave Fiorentina this Summer and will remain with them for at least another season according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The highly rated 22-year-old winger has drawn no shortage of links to both Inter and Juventus as of late and clubs from abroad have also reportedly shown an interest in signing him too.

The report goes on to explain that the player himself is well aware of all the interest in his services but has an excellent relationship with Fiorentina president and owner Rocco Commisso as well as his right hand man Joe Barone.

Chiesa’s idea is to continue with Fiorentina at least until 2021 to definitively consecrate himself and it will then remain to be seen what happens after that.

This season he has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored seven goals and tallied five assists.
