With Edinson Cavani set to leave Paris Saint Germain, the Ligue 1 club have set their sights on Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang according to a report from the online edition of French news outlet Le10Sports.com.

The Gabonese striker has just a year left on his current deal with the Premier League side and could be the man they bring in to replace Cavani, whose contract with the club expires at the end of next month.

Aubameyang has also drawn serious interest from Barcelona whilst his salary demands are an obstacle for Inter, who have also shown an interest.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker could be available for a fee in the region of €40-50 million which makes him further attractive to Paris Saint Germain.

The report goes on to explain that signing a new striker is a priority for the management at Paris Saint Germain and although they have an option to sign on loan striker Mauro Icardi from Inter, they have still yet to do so.
