The agent of Parma goalkeeper Luigi Sepe, Mario Giuffredi, has shared his belief that his client is now ready to play for a top club.

The 29-year-old, who is a graduate of Napoli’s academy, has had few chances to impress at Napoli but has truly impressed whilst with the Ducali club, who he joined in a two year loan deal  in the Summer of 2018 with an obligation to buy him this Summer.

Ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window, Sepe has been linked with a few other clubs including Inter, who have reportedly identified him as a candidate to initially serve as understudy to current number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and then succeed him in the future.

“I rate him highly and I have always said that since I became his agent. He is ready to play in a great team. This year he was one of the top five goalkeepers in Italy,” Giuffredi remarked in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Punto Nuovo earlier on today.

This season Sepe, who has also had loan spells with Empoli and Pisa, has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has conceded 28 goals and kept a total of five clean sheets.
