Paris Saint-Germain have until the end of the month to sign Mauro Icardi on a permanent basis but it is unclear if the deadline will be extended according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

Icardi joined the French capital city club on a season long loan this past Summer from Inter and as part of the deal they can sign him permanently for €70 million up until May 31.

However, due to the Coronavirus crisis and seasons being extended across the continent, it is unclear if the deadline will stay as is or if it will be pushed back to a later date.

Should the terms of the agreement remain the same and Paris Saint Germain do not sign him up by the end of the month, the report claims that Paris Saint Germain sporting director and former Inter manager Leonardo could try and renegotiate a new deal with Inter for the Argentine.

The report also goes on to add that Inter’s arch rivals Juventus are lurking in the background and keeping a close eye on developments.
